year. 09
lessons learned:
if you start a fad diet and loose weight quick,
you'll GAIN it ALL{and then some} right back if you go back to your normal EATING habits.
red lipstick can be worn, and should be worn, often if you please.
faith is real.
if it is nearly impossible to make it down the bunny hill while attempting to learn
snowboarding, a professional career is not an option.
fantastic sam's is not the answer to a rash moment of hair cutting insanity. tears will and have resulted from such stupid measures.
new york has the best hamburgers ever. period.
it is possible to move from a three bedroom house to a *one bedroom apartment.
*one bedroom meaning a garage turned into a living space.
july and august are officially the worst months of the year.
sno cones are mandatory for summer well being.
job hunting with craigslist is pointless.
autumn is a season not be missed. it's good for the psyche.
living near family is a blessing not to be taken granted for.
there is nothing comparable to childhood friends.
sometimes, things that you thought you really wanted, turn out to be things you
don't want at all.
traffic can turn nice people into mean people.
husbands make the best friends.
the business of death isn't that morbid after all.
{umm.. partial truth. it's becoming more and more normal in my "world."}
sunshine is good for the soul, but to much can make one irritable.
twenty seven year olds are still allowed to be homesick.
comfort zones can be left, and should be left sometimes to grow.
blog friends can turn into real friends. {thanks a&k.}
all things will get better with time.
It's amazing how much we can learn in one year. Hope you guys enjoy New Year's down your way... soak up some sun for me while you're at it :)
