friday afternoon: my favorite mountains at home. my mom drove me on a sketchy-no trespassing (what a daredevil!) muddy road to capture the red. blue. and black mountains in all their glory.
saturday lunch: family picnic kfc style and catching up with grandpa.
my little love birds.
friday eve: nodding my head and tapping my toes to this talented lady, miss lyndy butler and her band. {we didn't dance. the venue will get shut down if you dance. umm... footloose ring any bells?}
friday-monday:me holding my mini me, charlotte. we got out my baby books and compared simalarites with her. it was uncanny. i really wanted to steal her and call her my own, but my evil plan was foiled when her parents took her home.
sunday afternoon: oscar's with aunt steph, cousin kristin, and my favorite- pesto chicken quesadilla.
sunday night rummy. i always lose by an embarrassing amount. i blame it on my small hands and my inability to hold all the cards with out showing everyone.lame excuse?probably.monday morning: the park with two little ladies. i thought i could be an insta-mom for a minute, and take both toddlers by myself for an hour or so. lesson learned: i'm far from a mom and had a near come apart when one little lady laid under the picnic table throwing a tantrum while the other ran off to the unknown. who to leave or who to chase after? how does one make this tricky decision?
tuesday am: in a moment of rash decision making,i found myself in a salon chair asking for ombre hair. i have mixed feelings about it (as i ALWAYS do.) i mean.. i paid someone to make my hair look like grown out summer hair. what? i think i just miss summer.
surprisingly, i only ate cafe rio once while i was home. i'm regretting that decision as i write.
