as lovely as they come.

it was sunny with  blue skies on saturday.

the whole city comes alive when the sun is out. portland was smiling with all the momma's pushing babies in their strollers. dogs and runners on the streets. sun bathing on the open grassy parks. and frisbee galore.

even though i still feel crummy, i couldn't bear staying in bed and missing out on the goodness, so we took a drive around the city and into the hills.

while driving, we spied some blossoms appearing on some of the trees, and i was smitten with the pink amongst the grey city skyline.

it was glorious.

(i'm not even letting that fact that it was raining and cold again today get me down. days like saturday give me hope of what's to come.spring hurray soon!)

  3. snow?! yuck.

these blossoms aren't your typical spring time tree blossoms (you know.. popcorn popping on the apricot tree kind.) but they're still awesome nonetheless.

  6. You look so winsome and happy, I can't help but smile, too :) I love days like that. I bet your spring is going to be beautiful in Portland. I can't wait to see more pictures! I love your sweater, too, by the way - cheery and beautiful.

Oh, camera is a Nikon D200 - kind of old school now a days, but I still love it. I'm still a beginner, though - there is waaaayy to much to learn about that thing :) I love your polaroids! Have you ever shot with a Diana+???

we are far from getting a peek of those pretty blossoms. it's still winter wonderland here in good ol beehive state.

i also love how eloquent you are. i'm sure i've said this a billion times, but i do. i wish i was eloquent as you.
