the dark days are over.
after general conference yesterday, we took a little walk along the waterfront, and we marveled at the rows and rows of beautiful trees bursting with cherry blossoms.
my heart swelled with happiness in knowing that after months and months of dark and dreary, there is hope. there is beauty and there this joy.
i think often of how that concept has applied to my life. we must know pain to experience joy, and we must know darkness to appreciate the light. i'm so grateful to know that the lord is always with us in our darkest hours, and in our days of light and understanding.
what a great start to a beautiful week.
