i sweet talked graham into driving us to woodburn (a thirty minute drive south of portland) for the afternoon to visit wooden shoe tulip farm. it was windy and blowing rain, but never-the-less i tromped. sloshed. and slipped. on the muddy fields to catch a glimpse of the tulips in their glory, and people it was worth it.
and now, i'm even more set on visiting holland in the spring at some point in my to view the full magnitude of their tulips.
Oh my goodness that's so beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen so many flowers. What a lovely afternoon.
