you're like a roll roll roll roller-coaster.

we rocked out* to m.ward last night at the crystal ballroom.

m's  one of those artists, that sounds just like (if not better than) his album. in times of all these whats-its and whos-its running around with auto tune and altering their voices to cover up their lack of talent, it's refreshing to know that people still know how to rock it.

he was so good, that i told graham i wanted to pour his voice over ice-cream and eat it.

ya. 

that good.

on top of his chocolaty voice, he seems like a real cool dude.


 luck would have it, he lives here in portland.  we're thinking about becoming bffs with him. you know that kind of bff that you have bbqs with, and the kind of friend that you casually say "hey (talented friend- in this case, m.ward), pull out your guitar, and serenade us for a while."  it's going to be a good friendship. i can feel it.

try not to be jealous.

we'll invite ya'll to the bbqs too.

p.s. i'm glad that i saw him as m.ward not "she and him." i think zooey d, would've tried to steal his thunder. 
*by rocking out, i mean i  swayed as i tried to keep my eyes open. going to a concert on a school night during midterms week- not a smart move.
