sasquatch hunting.

we went hunting for sasquatch this weekend, during our first camping trip of the summer. we crossed the bridge of the gods, and drove through the mountains into beautiful skamania county, washington. the sun was shining through the wall of trees along the road, and i searched for bigfoot scampering amongst the woods.   sadly, he did not show his burly face, but i know he's out there. maybe.

things to note:
  • i like camping. all of it except the camping part. more reason to save for an airstream trailer.
  • graham is too tall for a two man tent.
  • we should start dinner earlier, so that i don't fear of turning into sasquatch myself.
  • peach cobbler in a dutch oven,{sweet majesty as some friends call it} wins over smores every time.

  5. A local group had a Bigfoot Hunt at Seaquest recently; they had a guy dress up in a bigfoot costume and they had a lot of fun :)

  10. ok. we bought this huge tent when we first got married thinking about "the little roeds" and james can almost stand up inside of it. it's ginormous. sleeps 8. and it has a screened in porch where we keep lilly at night. haha. it's too big that it takes up almost the whole campsite. haha

    glad you sorta enjoyed it.

we search for airstreams all the time on ebay.

  12. You are so pretty. It's official- you have the perfect bangs even while camping.

We have gone camping twice in two weeks. But, we didn't sleep over. Does that not count in your book?

Tin foil dinners are probably one of the most wonderful things on this planet to me. Is that what you ate for dinner?

I might have to agree with Kate. I love s'mores a whole lot.

  16. We went camping this weekend! My husband was too tall for the tent we borrowed but we made it work. I love camping, but the tent part is kind of difficult to stand sometimes.
