weekend.

this weekend, i avoided parabolas and comprehensive test studying for:

  • making the bueler family traditional santa clause cookies. after nearly massacring a few batches, i declared that i never want to make another santa cookie again, but then ate one and made up with the tricky buggers.
  • a christmas party for church. it was.. how do i say this? a church christmas party? cheesy jokes, meh food, and missionaries trying to sing feliz navidad. (i think most church parties play out like this unless you happen to live in the same area as team boo. the church parties she throws are the bomb. i salute you cardboard queen!)
  • posing once again in our traditional stance for photos. we're boring. we need to mix it up a bit. (or stop being so vain. probably the latter.)
  • and finally attacking  our scary mountain of laundry. laundry mats are not a place to spend your saturday mornings- dude, take it from us.

oh weekends, why must you zoom past so quickly?

(and while i'm questioning life, why have i forgotten everything that i've just learned over the past twelve weeks in math? oy. i swear if i make it to statistics it's going to be a miracle. )

and speaking of scary mountains of laundry - whatever i do i can't seem to make the mountain get any smaller - it grows faster than i can contain it!
